Destination Chautauqua Lake, NY: Adi and Howie's Wedding

This isn't the 1st time you've seen this lovely couple. We posted their engagement session a few weeks ago. Adi and Howie tied the knot at the historic Chautauqua Institution's Hall of Philosophy. The Chautauqua Institution is nestled on the edge of the lake that its named for in western New York State. Built about a hundred years ago as a summer learning center, the Institution's grounds are filled with some amazing architecture. It was a postcard perfect backdrop for make some amazing pictures of these two love birds! 

Adi's hair piece was had made by a friend out of spoons and a vintage broach

Both Bride and Groom are doctors, Adi for the Air Force, hence the aviator sun glasses!

As the sun set over the lake, we all headed to the opposite shore for the reception. It was a rockin party that none os us will forget! Thanks to Adi and Howie for letting us be apart of your amazing wedding!

Destination: Chatauqua Lake, NY Engagement Session

We love destination weddings! This one was extra special because Adi and Howie are part of the G+S extended family. The Chatauqua Lake region is western New York is breathtaking. With mile after mile of vineyards tucked into the mountains, you might think that you were in Napa or Italy. But this is Welches country, where the wine is sweet and juicy. A few days before their wedding we took the happy couple out for a few pictures. We stopped at Midway State Park, one of the oldest amusement parks in the country, then it was off to a local winery. We ended our little tour lakeside, watching the sun set. Don't forget to check back later in the week for the highlights of their amazing wedding!
