Jessica+Mike's Glen Oak Country Club Wedding

The Proposal: Mike planned the perfect surprise by telling Jessie they were attending a birthday party for his mom, Eileen, at the Westerkamp's home. Little did she know that her family and friends were all in on the surprise and her friends had been secretly talking about the party with Mike for months! They arrived to "Eileen's" party where Mike dropped down on one knee (hotly debated whether he would due to past knee surgeries) and asked Jessie to marry him in front of all their family and friends. The celebration continued from the Westerkamp's home to a private party held at Kincade's where Mike and Jessie first said, "I love you."

The Wedding: The day started at Glen Oak Country Club with Jessica getting her hair done by Elana Darrus, hair by Ivonne Cascallares Olandese, gown by Allure Bridal, shoes by David Tutera, and vintage jewelry from her grandmother. The Bridesmaids wore dresses of their own choosing, with matching Swarovski earrings. The Groom and Groomsmen wore tuxes from Black Tie Formalwear. Jessica's mother, Janice Nelson was the wedding planner, florals were by Laura Walsh from Phillips Flowers, and video by Earle Greenberg.
After getting ready, Jessica and Mike shared their first look right outside the Club. Then we had time for photographs before we headed into the city to Old St. Patrick's Church for the couple's ceremony. Then it was back to Glen Oak Country Club for the reception! Catering was taken care of in house by Glen Oak, cake by DeEtta's Bakery, and entertainment by Mark Rankin from DJ Chicago.
A great time was had by al.
Congrats Jessica and Mike!

Jackie & Justin's University Club Wedding aka Wedapollooza

Jackie & Justin chose Lollapollooza weekend to rock out at Chicago's historic University Club after a romantic wedding ceremony at Holy Name Cathedral.  We went out in the early afternoon for photos on the lake and some classic city spots before the storm hit.  While partying to the tunes of DJ Chicago, Lolla fans filled the streets at night.  We went out to get some shots with those crazy festival-goers.
