Roshan+Renny's Mehndi Ceremony

Renny+ Roshan's colorful four day traditional Hindu wedding began at the bride's home with the mehndi ceremony. The mehndi designs are very intricate. Hidden within Roshan's mehndi, Renny's initials were incorporated into the design on her hands. The event is a celebration, with dancing and bright colors. Three more elaborate days were to follow! There are so many pre-wedding, wedding and post wedding ceremonies that this will be a four part blog post.

Abbey + DJ's Classic Drake Hotel Wedding

Abbey & DJ tied the knot on a beautiful Spring day in March. After they saw each other for the first time at the Drake, we went to Union Station to get some classic Chicago pictures. Then it was off to the Chicago Theatre; one of our favorite locations of all time. After the photos were done it was time to get Abby and DJ married. Old St Pats, aside from being the oldest public building in all of Chicago is a beautiful church. Abby and DJ tied the knot and sent everyone back to get the festivities started at The Drake. The Gold Coast Room looked beautiful thanks to Hello, Darling! Once the party started Ken Arlen took the helm and the dance floor was packed the rest of the night.

Katie & Kevin's Newberry Library Bash

This past weekend we had the pleasure to shoot Katie and Kevin's amazing spring wedding.  They got ready for their big day at the Waldorf Hotel before heading to St. Michael's to tie the knot.  The weather was perfect to run around the city and shoot some great photos.  We eventually ended up at the Newberry Library for drinks, dancing and cake.  It was a wonderful day and we are so happy we got to spend it with them.
