Kurt Gerber: Favorite Moments 2014

At the close of each year we like to look back and recap with a selection of our personal favorite images captured during the season. 2014 was a great year filled with amazing couples and we can't wait to see what the 2015 season brings! As a principal photographer, Kurt nurtured his interest in fine art by studying photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he began developing  an aesthetic informed by renaissance painting, modern art, and pop culture. Kurt spent his early career making images for advertising clients with his full service production company in upstate New York and office in Manhattan. Upon discovering the friendly environs of Chicago, he formed a commercial photography business here in the mid-nineties.  After photographing several of his advertising clients' weddings, Kurt found his style sought by many in the business. After several years on his own in Chicago, he turned his friendship with Michael Scarpelli into a successful partnership. Kurt's mission is to create a legacy of talented artists and photographers that use their gifts to create positive change in the world. Michael Scarpelli: Favorite Moments 2014

At the close of each year we like to look back and recap with a selection of our personal favorite images captured during the season. 2014 was a great year filled with amazing couples and we can't wait to see what the 2015 season brings! As a principal photographer, Michael brings to the table his history of studying painting before moving on to photography, which he learned by assisting photographers on the West Coast. He has done fashion, editorial, photojournalism, and fine art photography- all of which shows in his stunning wedding work. His unique vision is informed not only by influences such as Robert Frank, Walker Evans, Gary Winograd, and William Klein, but also by traveling through Asia for ten years and living in New Mexico for seven. His client list includes many major companies and national magazines.
