Allison & Brendan

After shooting Allison and Brendan's engagement session, we knew their wedding was going to be a blast. This bubbly couple threw an incredible Labor Day wedding, at two of Chicago's most spectacular venues. Allison and Brendan tied the knot at the iconic Fourth Presbyterian Church, before heading over to the Museum of Contemporary Art. The Mark Bradford exhibit looked stunning with decor. Thanks to Joelle, from Simply Perfect By Melissa, for making the day run smoothly. Congratulations Allison and Brendan!

Michelle & Dan

Michelle and Dan were a fabulous couple to work with! The two got hitched at Café Brauer, followed by a rockin’ reception thanks to Toast and Jam. But before they said their “I dos”, we went to some of Chicago’s iconic landmarks for pictures. Parched from our adventures around the city, we stopped at the couples’ favorite watering hole, The Burwood Tap, before heading to Café Brauer. Thanks to Lauren, from LOLA Events, Michelle and Dan’s day was one to remember.

Stacey and Matt

This is one of the sweetest couples we have seen in a while! There was just so much love and Stacey and Matt never stopped smiling all day. They tied the know at one of our favorite spots, Old St Pats. Then it was off for a few pictures around the city.

The Knickerbocker Hotel conjures up thoughts of a grand time in Chicago, and these two love birds embraced that idea whole heartedly. They started they night off with a bang and a Champagne Parade, and kept the party moving for the rest of the night! This was one to remember! They brought together a great group of vendors to make sure that everything was perfect, including our good friend Melissa Phillips who brought it all together.

Alex and Yun Maternity Session

This is the type of client relationship that we love! We first took pictures of this lovely couple back in the spring of 2009 during their romantic engagement session in NYC's Central Park. A few short months later we shot their unique and intimate wedding at the Sears Tower here in sweet home Chicago. We were so excited when they contacted us last month with the exciting news that they're expecting! So off we went on shoot number three. And like the others before them, this one didn't disappoint!

Shannon & Matt

We had so much fun with Shannon & Matt!  After they tied the knot at Old St. Pats we had some time to hit the city and take some beautiful photos.  Our first of many stops was at the Art Institute where the two had their first date.  After trolly-ing around the city for awhile, we headed to the Hawthorne Race Course in Cicero for their reception.  This was the first wedding reception that was held there in over twenty years!  This venue was very special for the couple because Shannon's grandfather was the original owner. After an amazing candy table, great music, and matt serenading Shannon in a shark costume, the night was all together awesome.

What a day these two had!  On our way to the ceremony at St. Josephat's, the sky starting dropping hail all over us... a good omen, perhaps!  Must have been, because even the rain didn't get these two down!  We did some shots around the city and in Union Station before making it to Germania Place for their reception.  It was quite a party - check out the slideshow to see for yourself!
