Kay and Gearin's SwissĂ´tel Soiree

When Kay and Gearin first started planning their wedding they knew they wanted Chicago to be featured prominently. They saw each other for the first time at their ceremony at the Tiffany Garden at the south end of Buckingham Fountain. After a great photo tour we found our way back to the SwissĂ´tel where their guests got to take in the AMAZING views of Michigan Ave and Navy Pier from the 43rd floor. Kay and Gearin threw down an awesome party with the help of Roberto Monastero spinning tunes and Kayla of Big City Bride making sure every detail was attended too. Check out some of our favorite pictures below and a BIG 'Thank You' to Kay and Gearin!

Maggie & David's Nature Museum Wedding

Maggie and David were married in a beautiful ceremony at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. Before the ceremony they met up in front of the Adler and we went around the city, ending up at the Chicago Theater. Both Maggie and David work at the theater school, which is where they met for the first time. Their co-workers and students celebrated a fun-filled day with them.

Rachel & James' Wedding

Rachel and James ditched the Sunshine state, and traveled to the world’s greatest city for their wedding! We were thrilled to take part in it. They decided to see each other for the first time before the ceremony, which allowed us to capture beautiful images before the weather turned south.

Things got hot when we stopped at the firehouse of Engine 98, just off Michigan Avenue. Thankfully, James and several of his groomsmen are firefighters in Florida, so they were able to contain the sparks between the two.

Their ceremony and reception took place at the Adler Planetarium, which has a magnificent view of the city skyline.

Rachel surprised James with a groom’s cake, which matched his fireman helmet.

Thanks to the help of Ali Phillips, all the stars aligned, making it a picture perfect wedding.

Jenny & Jason

We were thrilled to photograph Jenny and Jason’s wedding. The day was full of big smiles, and even bigger hair. The couple and their wedding party struck some posses around the city, before heading to the Adler Planetarium for a scenic ceremony. Thanks to the wonderful Reva Nathan the day went by without a hitch.

Kristin & Larry

We were so excited to photograph Kristin and Larry's wedding. They got married at St. Joseph's Church and then had their reception at the brand new Trump Tower. It was a day full of laughs and surprises, and it was obvious that Kristin and Larry will be leading a long and happy life together!

There Larry is, demonstrating his fancy footwork. He even broke it down with "the worm" on the dance floor later in the night!

We spent the day traveling around the city to the Kinzie Street bridge, the Adler Planetarium lawn, and to Lasalle Street. However, the bride and groom were able to keep it real by turning their reception into a rave - complete with glowsticks!
