Sherra & Eddie's Wonderful Waldorf Wedding

Eddie and Sherra live in Little Rock, but one of the things they bonded over in the courting stage of their relationship was a deep love for the Windy City (who could blame them?). They knew when they got engaged they HAD to have their wedding here. With help from Chrissy Magliano at Big City Bride, they planned the wedding of their dreams in one of their favorite cities in the world. After a beautiful ceremony at the classic 4th Presbyterian Church on Michigan Ave it was back to the reception for cocktails, dancing and FUN. Everything came together for an EXCELLENT party featuring decor by Kehoe and tunes from the fabulous MC Lyte. These guys definitely got a wedding the exceeded their wildest expectations! 

Theresa and Michael's Magnificent Michigan Ave Party!

 Theresa and Mike are a TON of fun. We knew after their engagement session it was going to be a good time, but we weren't prepared for how crazy their party was going to be. They had a beautiful wedding in Riverside, before heading back to the city for fun pictures around the city and a rockin party at the Intercontinental Hotel on Michigan Ave. The party was perfect thanks to Lisa Zimbler of Lisa Zimbler Events, decor by Kehoe, and awesome tunes care of Orchestra 33.

At Gerber + Scarpelli, we're lucky enough to see and celebrate with all different traditions. This past weekend we got to see a Christian ceremony come together with a Hindu ceremony to create something beautiful and unique! Lisa and Jason met at Michigan State and knew almost instantly that they would end up together. They combined two beautiful traditions of faith into one ceremony which represented their different backgrounds, while at the same time speaking to their unity. After the ceremony everyone took a short break as Lisa changed outfits into another beautiful sari, while the boys all changed into their tuxedos. Then it was time to party - and party they did! It was an amazing time with so much to see and photograph!  A BIG thank you to Ali Phillips of Engaging Events by Ali, who helped bring everything together perfectly! Tracy & Greg's Fall Festival

Tracy and Greg warmed up Chicago’s fall temperatures with their bright smiles, romantic chemistry and vibrant wedding.

Prior to the ceremony, the couple decided to see each other at Hinsdale Golf Club. We love when our couples buck the tradition of waiting to see each other for the first time walking going down the aisle. This makes for a more memorable and intimate moment. Also, in Tracy and Greg’s case, it allowed us to capture images of the wedding party on the golf course before sunset.

Kehoe did a tremendous job transforming the Hinsdale Golf Club’s ballroom into an autumn wonderland.

The Bob Filler Orchestra kept guests moving all night!

Marcy and Jennifer, of Great Events, did a wonderful job creating a truly stunning event.

Kajal & Kunal

It seems like we have been dancing at Indian weddings all summer! Kajal & Kunal's wedding was totally rocking! From the wild and crazy Barat on Michigan Ave, to the breathtaking room design by Kehoe Designs, and the dance party that broke out after dinner, the day was nonstop! Sabrina, Nisar and their team from Sabrina Hans Events, kept the chaos in check and made the whole day run smoothly. Kajal's vision for the room was of stunning golds and reds for the ceremony and shimmering blues and greens for the evening reception, was fully realized. The Gold Coast room at the Drake looked as beautiful as ever!

And of course we were there to capture all the action!
