Apple Orchard Fashion Shoot

This past September, one of our very own photographers, Nick Gerber, got the pleasure of photographing the designs of Kristin Hassan a former contestant of Bravo's 'The Fashion Show' (currently the creative director of OrganiKRevolution). With a great team of stylists (Joanna Wysocki, Stephanie Mueller - Sonia Roselli), videographer (Ben Mahoney) and assistants (Frank Lieu, Darcey Lohman - BCB), and of course a stunning model (Kristal Sikora); Nick came back with some stunning images!

Fortunately we were able to use an apple orchard where one of our former clients Esther + Jae were married.

Also, keep your eyes peeled for the rising star that is Kristin Hassan. Her designs remind us of classic Ralph Lauren, so we're sure you'll be seeing them in boutiques near you soon!


Lastly a big thank you to everyone that participated in making the shoot a screaming success! We got great pictures out of the deal and had an absolute blast - what more could one ask for?

Bridal Market: Things we love!

A few weeks ago, Nick Gerber shot the Chicago Bridal Market. Here are a few things that we fell head over heals for!

Chicago's Finest Food Tour

A few weeks ago we were invited to shoot a restaurant tour organized by Wynn Las Vegas Chef Paul Bartolotta, formerly of Spiaggia. The evening started with appetizers upstairs in the test kitchen of Rick Bayless's Frontera Grill. Many of the ingredients came from the restaurant's gardens located right here in Chicago!

Then it was off the L2O for dinner! Chef Laurent Gras earned his stripes in Michelin starred restaurants in France. He has worked on both coasts and finally made his way to Chicago and opened award-winning L2O.

For desert we headed across town to the French Pastry School and the delectable creations of chef owners Sabastien Canonne, MOF and Jacquy Pfeiffer.

It was a wonderful night filled with amazing food!

Studio 808 Refresh Party at Market

G+S recently had the opportunity to work with Erin Creaney of Studio 808 on her Refresh White Party at Chicago's newest and hippest sports lounge, Market. Though it was a rainy day, no one's spirits were dampened as we got to see the newest fall collection from some of the top designers in Chicago. CS Interiors

The new CS Interiors is out and we are very excited! Rebecca Molinar, whose amazing work we have featured here before, has a profile about her collaboration with furniture designer, Bladon Connor. The project that brought them together was designing chairs for our very own Belen Aquino. Belen photographed Rebecca's work for the story too. Congrats guys!
