Laurie & Brad

Finally - wedding season has started again!  This year we kicked it off with Laurie and Brad.  The two met on Facebook and clicked right away.  Their families love each other and the couple make a perfect pair that even met the approval of Brad's adorable son!  The wedding was at the Palmer House Hilton in the Grand Ballroom.  It was decorated in a classic and crisp style with whites, ivories, and pale greens and pinks.  Sue Primer was there to organize the day, Larry King Orchestra provided the rock n' roll, and Richard Remiard made the room beautiful with his floral designs.

Christine & Mike's Baby Bump

In 2008, we photographed Christine and Mike's wedding.  Two years later, we photographed Mike's sister's wedding.  And this year, the family was back for photos of Christine and Mike's baby bump!  

And here they are two years later!

We're lucky enough to have an original Banksy piece right in our neighborhood.  Might as well make some use of it!

Hello Darling Bouquet of the Day

This past Sunday we photographed Hello Darling's Bouquet of the Day at Macy's downtown.  Hello Darling revealed this beautiful piece for the Macy's Flower Show to get all of us excited for spring!

Brides and Blooms at The Intercontinental Hotel

G+S at the Brides and Blooms show at The Intercontinental

Emily Nash

We recently had the pleasure of photographing Emily Nash.  Emily began her violin studies at the age of 7.  She received her Bachelors of Music as a violin performance major from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign while studying with Simin Ganatra.  Last summer she was Senior Violin Instructor for the Illinois Summer Youth Music Program and was a chamber music coach at the Allerton Chamber Music Festival.  Emily is currently finishing her Master's Degree in Violin Performance studying with Almita Vamos at Northwestern University.

We wish Emily all the best on her journey to become 1st violin with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. 

Engagement Session with Jessica, Seth and Tru

Don't get us wrong - we love Chicago.  But every now and then we get the opportunity to do a photo shoot in somewhere different.  Jessica and Seth asked us to come out to Barrington and introduced us to Jessica's horse Tru. Isn't it so romantic?! The sun setting on the snow, a black horse and an amazing couple!

The couple met in South Africa and are getting married in the Tiffany Garden next year.  We can't wait for their wedding!
