Nancy and Chris had a beeeeeautiful wedding at the Ivy Room! Their outdoor ceremony was stunning, and accompanied by the lovely decorations by Heffernan Morgan, the entire venue looked unbelievable. Their centerpieces were awesome; they even included engraved rocks glasses as favors for the guests! Be sure to notice the cake topper (which wasn't really a cake topper because it got too heavy), which Chris made to represent the couple's little family! After guests ate well with catering from J&L, they danced like wild things to music by Ken Arlen.

Ashley & Casey's Ivy Room Blowout!
Last week we got the chance to work with a GREAT couple... well, all our couples are great, but Ashley and Casey were especially fun! The couple got to see each other for the first time at The Ivy Room before we hit the town for photos. After, we returned to The Ivy Room where Casey and Ashley tied the knot and threw an awesome party! With perfect details and great event organization (courtesy of Katie Kozlowski of Bliss Weddings and Events and Donna Albertson of The Ivy Room) the night went off without a hitch! Check out some of our favorite pictures below!

Michelle and Sam
A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of shooting Michelle and Sam's wedding. It was an intimate affair at the Ivy Room downtown. With Big City Bride helping them plan the day, Frost doing the lighting, Heffern and Morgan providing the flowers and Berghoff catering, they had an all-star team working with them to make their day unforgettable. Their wedding was beautiful and it was a lot of fun to work with them. Thanks again to Michelle and Sam for letting us share their big day with us.

Haiti Relief Print Sale Update
We got a bunch of photos from Alex at the G.R. N'Namdi Gallery from our Haiti Relief Print Sale. Believe it or not, even though we are all photographers, we barely took any photos that night - we were too busy!
But, turns out that it was a good problem to have because, with your help, together we raised a whopping $6,000! We wanted to give a special thank you to Donna Albertson from the Ivy Room. She volunteered her impeccable organizational skills to help us get all orders and donations in the right place.
The live music from Out On the Plains was a great addition to the night; they really set the mood with some smooth blue grass and classic country songs.
It seems that everyone had a great time. It was an exciting opportunity for us to reconnect with past brides and grooms as well as get to know new ones and their families. We also had the gallery's clients come out and support, as well as our own families and friends.
Thanks again to Gumaane from the G.R. N'Namdi Gallery - we couldn't have done it without him!

Kristen & John's Rockin' Wedding
Kristen and John threw a rockin’ wedding a few weeks ago, and we were very excited to be a part of it. While Kristen got ready at The James Hotel, John and his groomsmen hung out at Old Town Social, Old Town’s newest addition thanks to John himself, a co-owner. Old Town Social’s antique vibe made it a perfect place for pictures.

After tying the knot at St. Joseph’s, the newlyweds and their wedding party went across town to Union Station for some pictures.

The rainy weather did not stop Kristen and John from capturing some romantic images in the courtyard of the Ivy Room.

With the help of Fleur and Heather Vickery, the Ivy Room transformed into a vibrant fall festival! The Larry King Orchestra kept the dance floor crowed all night, but Jim Peterik stole the show. Peterik co-wrote Survivor’s hit “Eye of The Tiger”. LKO and Peterik treated the guests with a brilliant live performance!

Kristen watched "America's Next Top Model" to help her prepare for her special day.

Thank you Kristen and John for allowing us to be part of your day!
