Not Just Puppy Love - Well... Maybe A Little Puppy Love

We were so thrilled when Katie and Steve decided they wanted to work with us! Once we met their sweet puppy we were even more smitten with this little family! We met early on a Sunday morning and wandered around Millennium Park - where they had their first date. Then it was off to a bridge to get some downtown Chicago in their engagement session. Take a look at some of our favs from the session! Thanks to Katie and Steve!

Kieley & Sanjay's Downtown Winter Engagement Session

Even though it was a little chilly, you gotta love a sunny day in February! We met up with Kieley and Sanjay for a little photo tour. We walked from the Chicago Theater to the Art Institute with a warm up stop at the Cultural Center. As you can probably tell, there was a lot of laughter. We can't wait to shoot your wedding in October!

Heather and Jason's Narnia Estate Wedding

Heather and Jason are an amazing couple and completely head over heels in love! Although they got married in the suburbs, Heather and Jason wanted to take pictures with their wedding party at all of their favorite locations in the city - Olive Park, Millennium Park and the Buckingham Fountain. The couple had their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Narnia Estate. We had a fantastic time working with these two.

Amita and Ben

We first fell for this amazing couple during their engagement session. We knew their wedding was going to be amazing. There was nothing to disappoint us! Amita, Ben and many of their family and friends escaped the thrashings of Hurricane Irene for picture perfect Chicago and an unforgettable wedding that blended elements of two ancient traditions. We started off the day at the Palmer House, then walked to Millennium Park for a few pictures with their friends. From there we walked down to the AIC gardens for some romantic pictures of just the couple. With a leisurely walk to the Chicago Cultural Center our photo tour was complete. The intimate feeling ceremony for over two hundred in Preston Bradley was flawless. Sabrina Hans of SHEvents brought everything together seamlessly. And the reception was filled with tears and laughter. It was an unforgettable night. Congrats to Amita and Ben! Thanks for letting us be apart of your day!

Laura & Lee

Laura and Lee are absolutely amazing.  They are moving to Seattle the week after their wedding and wanted to take a little piece of Chicago with them.  So what better memories than to get married here before they left.  They tied the knot at the beautiful Carleton Hotel in Oak Park, where they had an intimate ceremony with family and friends.  After a cocktail hour filled with hors d'oeuvres and Nancy O'Brien strumming Stairway to Heaven on the harp, we loaded the bus and headed Downtown.  We had the perfect amount of time to make some really beautiful photographs,  starting at the Shedd Aquarium then heading to Millennium Park and making our way south to the the gardens at the Art Institute.  Laura and Lee got engaged on the bridge from the park to the art institute so these locations had a special place in their hearts.  We closed out the night with a wonderful meal and a few drinks at the Chicago Firehouse Restaurant.  It was an amazing day and we are very thankful we got to spend it with them!
