Love the Love: Chicago Style Weddings

Eileen & Josh

Eileen and Josh will be getting married in April at The Chicago Illuminating Company.  We had a great time walking through Millennium Park taking some shots at "the bean" and at the Cancer Survivor Garden.  From there, we went to warm up at the Palmer house.  We can't wait to shoot their wedding in the spring!

Christie & Shane

We had so much fun spending the day with Christie and Shane.  They will be getting married on April 9th at the Drake.  Because Christie works for The Hilton, we were able to take some awesome pictures in one of the private ballrooms at the Palmer House.  Shane is the Quarterback coach for the Chicago Bears.  We wish him the best of luck next week in the playoffs!  We can't wait to shoot their wedding and hopefully celebrate Superbowl win.

Jamie & Mike - New Years Eve Wedding!

   

New Year's Eve is a great day for everyone.  It's a day where we get to remember the past year and look forward to the new one with new ideas and aspirations (perhaps even some resolutions!).  For Jamie and Mike, New Year's Eve was an especially great day because it was their wedding day!  The happy couple got married at one of our favorite venues, Old St. Pat's.  After their ceremony, we all went to the Four Seasons to celebrate!  The couple had a late ceremony, so by the time guests had dinner we were inching towards the stroke of midnight.  When midnight came, the entire crowd went crazy in their NYE garb and balloons fell from the ceiling!  We couldn't imagine a better way to celebrate 2011!

Anne Marie and Gilles

Anne Marie and Gilles had a intimate daytime wedding at Old St. Pats back in November.  Since Gilles is French, this was the first of two weddings for the couple.  The second one will take place back in France with Gilles's family.  After their ceremony, the bride and groom celebrated at the Sofitel where cheese from the region of France that Gilles was from was offered before the cake was served.  It was a very unique and cozy wedding.  A big thanks to Anne Marie and Gilles for letting us document their day!

Michelle and Sam

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of shooting Michelle and Sam's wedding.  It was an intimate affair at the Ivy Room downtown.  With Big City Bride helping them plan the day, Frost doing the lighting, Heffern and Morgan providing the flowers and Berghoff catering, they had an all-star team working with them to make their day unforgettable.  Their wedding was beautiful and it was a lot of  fun to work with them.  Thanks again to Michelle and Sam for letting us share their big day with us.
