Jesse & Colin

Jesse and Colin have been together for ten years. And believe me, this lovely wedding was worth the wait. The ceremony was held at Old St Pat's. And even through the weather didn't cooperate, we did get some amazing pictures! The off to the Knickerbocker Hotel for an amazing party with tunes by Toast and Jam. Thanks to Laura Patterson of The Ideal Day for making everything go off without a hitch, and Anthony Gowdar Designs for providing such beautiful flowers!

Italia 2011

In late March and early April, Mike and his family visited Italy.  They went to Sicily, rented a car and experienced the true craziness of driving in Italy.  After that, they stopped in Venice before heading to Rome.

Enjoy the photos!

Shane & Christie

Shane and Christie had a beautiful event at The Drake!  These two are an ideal Chicago couple - Christie works for the Hilton and Shane is the quarter back coach for The Chicago Bears!  They pulled in some great vendors for their event, including Melissa Phillips as their event planner, Dolce Strings for their ceremony music, Final Say for their reception band, and Richard Remiard for their gorgeous florals.

Tanja & John

One thing that is so exciting about being wedding photographers in Chicago is that we get to work on such a diverse array of weddings.  We get to work with all types of clients; from Chinese to Jewish, Hindu to Catholic, and traditional to modern, for example.  Last weekend, we had a very German wedding - beer steins included!

Tanja was born in Germany, so many aspects of her heritage were included during the wedding day.  The couple got married at St. Alphonsus Church with readings done in English and German.  After that, we took a trolley to Olive Park and had a thirty person champagne toast, or perhaps I should say "Prost!"

The reception was at Pazzo's.  Tanja and John's brother in law designed a family crest just for them, and had it printed on customized beer steins.  Tanja's family sang some traditional German drinking songs while everyone swung their beer in the air... It was just like Oktoberfest!

Brant & Joanna

Brant & Joanna had a beautiful and colorful wedding at the Chicago History Museum.  The spring day perfectly complemented their color palette, and the classic backdrop of the CHM went so well with the couple's style.  Joanna, who comes from a family of performers, did a special performance with her mother during the reception.  Personal touches always add a bit of extra romance and uniqueness to any wedding - and always makes us excited when we see something new!
