Alexa+Joshua's Drake Hotel Wedding

The Proposal: Josh proposed at the St. Regis Princeville in Kauai, Hawaii. He arranged for a table at the Makana Terrace overlooking Hanalei Bay and Makana Mountain. Just as the last part of the sun was setting behind the mountain, Josh turned to Alexa, got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, giving her a custom ring by Danhov.

The Wedding: Alexa and Joshua's festivities would revolve around the iconic Drake Hotel, where the couple would get ready, have their ceremony, and finally the reception. The day was planned by Audrey Gordon, with florals by Anthony Gowder Designs, and a sophisticated color theme of white, black, and gold. 
Alexa's makeup was by Rebekah Veen, hair by Ramsay Marston, gown by Badgley Mischka from Ultimate Bride, Kate Spade earrings, and Jimmy Choo heels. The couple had their first look outside, followed by photos of the whole wedding party. We got to photograph Alexa and Joshua in several beautiful spots inside the Drake, then it was time for their ceremony, where they finally got to tie the knot.  The reception that followed was rocking long into the night with entertainment by Stitely Entertainment, and delicious cake by Amy Beck.

Meghan+Joe's University Club of Chicago Wedding

The Wedding: Meghan and Joe got ready separately at the University Club of Chicago. The lovely navy,white, and gold event was planned by Anthony Gowder, who also designed all of the florals. Meghan's makeup was by Kate Mueller, and hair by Magnificent Brides. Videography by Lexoria Wedding Films. The bride's dress was by Romona Keveza from Ultimate Bride, and her shoes were by Jimmy Choo. Meghan's jewelry was borrowed from her mother and grandmother. The Bridesmaid's pretty navy dresses were from Bella Bridesmaid. The couple had their first look in the library, then it was off to take photos of the whole bridal party out on the town. We arrived at Holy Family Church for the ceremony, where Meghan and Joe tied the knot among their closest friends and family. Following the ceremony, we headed back to University Club of Chicago for the luxe reception. The catering and cake were both provided in house, while the evenings entertainment was by David Rothstein Music.

Gail and Brian's Hotel InterContinental Bash

Last month, Gail, Brian and their families threw one stellar wedding! We started the day in the two story presidential suite at the very top of the Hotel InterContinental. With sweeping 180 degree views downtown Chicago, its one of the most majestic hotel rooms in city. After meeting for the 1st time in the Hall of Lions, we took the happy couple over to the newly renovated Wrigley Building to make a few pictures. Then it was off to La Madonna della Strada at Gail's alma mater, Loyola. The lovely ceremony filled was with a few giggles and tears. But as the the rear doors opened onto the crystal clear lake and even clearer sky, the tears dried and the giggles turned to laughter. None of us can remember a time when the Renaissance Room looked better. Under the meticulous hand of Anthony Gowder and his team, the room was breathtaking. Front of House kept the dance floor moving and Stephanie Gowder made sure the night went off without a hitch. The InterContinental team was there to make sure that every guests needs were met.
