Jennifer & Michael

The wedding we have here was 14 years in the making. Jennifer and Michael met  in 1996 and have been dating ever since. We started out in the Ritz Carlton where they Jennifer and Michael got ready. We set up their first meeting of the day in a wonderful little park just across the street from the Ritz. The trees that shaded the park gave a refreshing respite from the heat, and made for terrific pictures. Then it was off to the awe inspiring Museum of Contemporary Art. This build was not only amazing for pictures, but held a special place in the hearts of both the bride and groom. The couple had met because of this build (Michael is a chief executive of We O'niel, the company that constructed the museum), and had many stories about it that made it dear to them. After a wonderful ceremony in the courtyard of the MCA, the guests retreated inside the beautifully decorated museum to enjoy dinner and a casual evening of socializing and dancing. Of course it all went off perfectly because we had the steady hand of Ali Phillips of Engaging Events by Ali to keep things in order. We had so much fun and wish Jennifer and Michael all the best! Thanks for letting us be apart of your special day!

Sarah & Jeff

Sarah and Jeff picked an absolutely beautiful day for their wedding in the park. We started the day with Sarah at Hotel 71, and then met Jeff and his groomsmen in the terrific lobby of Club Quarters. We got some awesome pictures of the guys while the girls were getting ready. Everyone loaded into limos and headed to the Grandmother's Garden in Lincoln Park for the ceremony. It was a gorgeous ceremony with great decorations and wonderful music. The weather was a concern but didn't end up bothering us at all, in fact the day turned out near perfect. After a few pictures in the park we all loaded back into the limo to get some pictures around Chicago. Our first stop was Olive Park, which always makes a beautiful background but worked especially well for this great couple. Then we got some fantastic pictures of the couple in front of the Chicago Theater which was lit up for the show that night. We were even serenaded but a Tina Turner impersonator! After that we were off to go celebrate at the Tower Club at the Lyric Opera, where everyone partook in dancing the rest of the night away! We had so much fun with this Sarah and Jeff!!

Laura & Brock

Laura and Brock threw a spectacular wedding a few weeks ago! The couple tied the knot at Kenilworth Union Church, and then headed south to Lincoln Park, where the celebration continued at Café Brauer.

Anthony Gowder not only did a tremendous job with the flowers, but also as the day-of planner. Malik’s Ultimate Band kept the seats empty and the dance floor full throughout the night. Congratulations Laura and Brock!

Erin & Nate

Erin and Nate had a near fairy tale wedding day that was absolutely elegant in every way. The Ceremony was at the always beautiful Holy Family Church, which created a terrific backdrop for the wonderful couple. We then hit the city for some shot of the two and the rest of their wedding party. Erin wanted to really incorporate the city in her pictures, but not the typical city shots you see. So we went to some new and interesting destinations for their pictures. We were excited to get to go some place that were out of the ordinary. After all the fun we had taking pictures around Chicago, we went to the Intercontinental Hotel for the reception. The grand ballroom was elegantly decorated and looked fabulous! We want to thank Erin and Nate for letting us share in their special day!

Danielle and Matthew

If there was an award for the most affectionate and radiating couple, Danielle and Matthew would win!  We had an incredible time with these two because their love was absolutely contagious.  Danielle and Matthew got ready in the penthouses at The Sutton Place Hotel downtown.  Danielle surprised Matthew by giving him a Czech pocketwatch that has been in her family for over a hundred years!  We then travelled down to the First Unitarian Church for their ceremony, where a family friend sang Ave Maria and Danielle's father played the bagpipes.  After photos around the city, the reception was held at the amazing restaurant Spiagga.  The evening had tons of personal touches and was so much fun.

Julie & Brandon

Photobucket

Julie and Brandon are both from Naperville, so it was only natural that we spend a lovely summer evening in Naperville's quaint downtown shooting their engagement. Want to get out of the city? This is a great spot for an engagement!

Blaire & Michael

Blaire and Michael turned up the heat a few weeks ago. The sizzlin’ couple started off their day at the Renaissance Hotel, then it was off to some Chicago hot spots for pictures. Trying to beat the summer heat, we ducked into the trendy Wit Hotel before heading back to the Renaissance. Sue Primer did a fantastic job putting together a glamorous ceremony and reception.

Congratulations Blaire and Michael!

Emmi & Piotr

Emmi and Piotr had a beautiful wedding last weekend! It was such a pleasure capturing their day. We started out right in the heart of downtown, at the Sheridan. After a few pictures inside the hotel we moved outside by the river. We found a wonderful spot under Columbus Ave. bridge, which gave some refuge from the heat. Emmi and Piotr were such troopers, despite the heat, and gave us a chance to make some great pictures. After the gorgeous ceremony, the night's festivities included a few traditional Polish dancing and a rousing Horah. If the people dancing had half as much fun as we had taking pictures of them, then it was a good night for everyone!

Eve & John

Eve & John got married on Memorial Day Weekend.  They chose the beautiful location of the Lake Forest Academy's Armour House because Eve really wanted a garden wedding.  There was so much love amongst the newlyweds and their guests that day!  Also, we love how Eve rocked the side pony; she looked so elegant and beautiful!
