Brides and Blooms

This past Wednesday we had the privilege to participate in Brides and Blooms at the Hotel InterContinental Chicago. The event brought together some of the best vendors in Chicago and was flawlessly orchestrated by Melissa Phillips of Simply Perfect by Melissa. Chris Schmidt and his staff from the InterCon were fabulous as usual. The kitchen staff really outdid themselves with all the yummy hors d'oeuvres. It was great to spend an evening with some of our favorite people including Keith from Poetic Productions and Cheryl from Shutter Booth. Anthony Gowder pulled out all the stops with his gorgeous florals. MFO Entertainment kept everybody movin' and grovin'. Beauty on Call was on hand to make all the guests look and feel their best. Ultimate Bride and Bella Bridesmaid brought the breathtaking dress, and The Left Bank made sure they were accessorized perfectly. Bittersweet and Take the Cake made sure they room smelled of nothing but their sweet confections. And no event is complete without the fabulous designs and witty commentary of Elizabeth Grace. It is such a pleasure to work with all of you year in and year out! Thanks to Melissa for including us, along with such a great group of vendors!

Brides and Blooms

Love the Love: Style Me Pretty

We love seeing our work published, be it in print or digitally. This is one of the sweetest, most romantic weddings we have weddings we shot this year. We are thrilled that it has been featured on Style Me Pretty!  Thanks to all the amazing vendors that helped make this the perfect wedding day for Jessica and Jordan!

Katie and Darren's Old St Pat's and the University Club Wedding

This wedding is totally for the history (or maybe the story) books! Both Katie and Darren were born and raised down state. But it was in Chicago where their romance blossomed. They were married on a stunning November day at Old St Pat's. It was a bittersweet moment for Katie, because her father had passed away only a few months prior. After such an emotionally charged event, it was time to let loose, hang out on the party bus and get some rockin' city pictures before heading back to the University Club for the reception. Cathedral Hall was breathless. Katie's vision, executed with the help of Rishi from HMR Design Group and Melissa Phillips of Simply Perfect by Melissa, was inspiring! Actually, I think the word sexy was used more than once to describe the decor. The reception went off without a hitch. Final Say kept the party rolling all night with a good mix of classics and contemporary hits. It was truly a night to remember! Congrats to Katie and Darren, and thank you for letting us be a part of your amazing day!

Jessica & Jordan's Holy Family Signature Room Wedding

Jessica and Jordan had a dream destination Chicago wedding. Both lovebirds are from out of town so it was very important for both of them to have a true Chicago wedding. They were married at the historic Holy Family Church on Roosevelt Rd. From there it was off on a whirl wind tour on Chicago hot spots before heading to the Signature Room in the John Hancock Building for a romantic reception overlooking the city. Special thanks go out to Melissa Phillips for bringing it all together seamlessly!
