This wedding is totally for the history (or maybe the story) books! Both Katie and Darren were born and raised down state. But it was in Chicago where their romance blossomed. They were married on a stunning November day at Old St Pat's. It was a bittersweet moment for Katie, because her father had passed away only a few months prior. After such an emotionally charged event, it was time to let loose, hang out on the party bus and get some rockin' city pictures before heading back to the University Club for the reception. Cathedral Hall was breathless. Katie's vision, executed with the help of Rishi from HMR Design Group and Melissa Phillips of Simply Perfect by Melissa, was inspiring! Actually, I think the word sexy was used more than once to describe the decor. The reception went off without a hitch. Final Say kept the party rolling all night with a good mix of classics and contemporary hits. It was truly a night to remember!
