Rebecca and Rob had such an intimate, adorable wedding with so many personal details. These two got married at the Ritz Carlton -- the same place Rebecca's parents were married many moons ago! Their ceremony was beautiful and included a song performed by their loved ones. The wedding was perfectly executed by Beth Bernstein of SQN Events and the decor by Fleur was absolutely stunning. Instead of cake they did pie (yum!) and had a custom pie topper with a figurine of their happy family - pup included! Their ceremony was a blast: more performances by family members and a great blend of the couple's Jewish and Latvian roots.

Tanu & Jacob's Palmer House Wedding
Tanu and Jacob had a Jewish wedding in New York and then came to Chicago for their Indian wedding. How awesome - two weddings! With the help of Sabrina Hans these two threw a great party at the Palmer House. The Bride and Groom's cultures blended so well; the Barat even turned into a Hora! DJ Sunny kept everyone moving all night and guests couldn't get smiles off their faces.

What's your favorite moment of a wedding?
The first look is my favorite moment, it's beautiful. Also, anytime someone cries. I just like capturing moments that are real.
What is your fail safe location?
I love north pond and south pond. All of Lincoln Park. Olive park is pretty too. Basically nature in the city is very rock and roll.
Some photographers that inspire you?
Jonas Peterson, Sean Flanigan
What is your favorite wedding color combo?
Grey and white, two-tone groomsmen shoes all the way.
What is your go-to Lens?
I always have my Canon 85m and 35m.
What are you favorite wedding venues? The University Club and any really good restaurant. I also like rocking the suburbs on occasion and outdoor venues.
If you were hosting a guest that has never been to chicago before, where would you take them?
If I was hosting someone in chicago I would take them to Cheesies and then after that they pretty much couldn't do anything else.
Favorite movies?
Donnie Darko, The Royal Tenenbaums. TV shows- the west wing, LOST
Favorite chicago neighborhood?
Toss up between Wicker Park and Wrigleyville.
Your favorite vacation destination?
Paris, France
Favorite bands?
Beirut. On repeat. Forever. It's all you need.
If I'm allowed to pick dead people then I'd see Sinatra front row.
If you could be any animal, what would you be?
If I was an animal I would probably be a bird, specifically a duck so I could fly And swim.
Cats or Dogs?
Cats, they are so much more chill.
Favorite Chicago restaurant?
Cheesies. it could save lives. But for pizza, definitely Lou Malnati's.

Bridget & Mike's Spiaggia Wedding
Bridget and Mike didn't let a Chicago winter get in their way - they had a fun wedding in early January. These two were married at the Moody Church and then gallivanted around town for some beautiful dusk photos. We then went to their reception at Spiaggia, where the Dan Hayes Orchestra rocked the house and Katie from The Smitten Bride kept everything running smoothly.
