Katie & Luke's Lovely Library Wedding

Its been so cold this winter that having a sunny Saturday is amazing. Having a sunny Saturday thats not crazy cold is almost like winning the lottery for a winter bride and groom. Katie and Luke's wedding day was just that, and we took full advantage of it! We started the day in the presidential suite at the Hotel Intercontinental on Michigan Ave. After an intimate 1st look in the King Arthur Room, we headed to the Wrigley Building for a few pictures before the ceremony. As usual, Old St Pats looked lovely, and Father Hurley kept everyone laughing. A horse drawn carriage waited for the couple outside the church and whisked them away for a few moments of alone time. Harold Washington Library's Winter Garden was glowing in the fading winter light. Lauren of LK Events and the team from Kio Kreations made the space fell like a modern romantic garden. Deja Vu kept the party rockin' and Blue Plate kept the food and booze comin'. Such a gorgeous way to spend a winter evening! Congrats Katie and Luke!
