Marissa and Ryan's Indy Engagement Shoot

Engagement shoots are one of our FAVORITE things to do! Not only do we get to do a trial run for photos on the wedding day, we get to know our couples a little better. It's awesome when the couple wants to do something for their shoot that relates to their lives. For Ryan and Marissa, it's going to dinner at Bite Café before heading next door to the Empty Bottle to catch a show. So if you haven't scheduled your engagement session with us yet, consider doing it at your Friday Night Date Spot, or another place that has special significance to you. Not only do we get to know you better, you'll have a little piece of personal history to look back on. 

Kristen & Chris's Intimate Dewes Mansion Affair

Last week we got the extreme pleasure of working at the Dewes Mansion with an absolutely fabulous couple! Chris and Kristen got ready at The Public Hotel - one of our new favorite places - before they saw each other and we were off for photos. Once we wrapped up pictures at some classic Chicago locations we withdrew to the Dewes Mansion where Kristen and Chris had an intimate ceremony with close friends and family. After they were wed the party was on and they swayed the night away underneath a canopy of Christmas lights. Check out some of our favorite pics below!

Nika and Ryan's St James' Chapel Wedding

On June 23 we had the pleasure of photographing Nika and Ryan’s wedding at St. James Chapel and the Peninsula Hotel.  We had met Nika ten years ago when we photographed her sister Lela’s wedding. Everyone raved about the band, Indigo. 

Kim & Jay's Library Wedding

Initially Jay wasn't sold on the idea of doing a traditional wedding. His ideal wedding included karaoke and a moon bounce. However, after seeing the awesome job Kim did on planning and executing their wedding we're pretty sure everyone, including Jay, agreed that it was a perfect event. Check out their pictures below!
