Engagement Session: Parul and Mirab

What a beautiful, energetic couple!  Parul and Mirab had us entertained as we galavanted around Lincoln Park and the West Loop.  They look so great together, don't they?  They're getting married, traditional Indian style, this Memorial Day weekend at the Meadows Club.  Check back later to see photos from their wedding!

Leah and John

This lovely couple are getting married in Ann Arbor in September. But they wanted a few awesome pictures in sweet home Chicago! If this engagement session is any indication, their wedding is going to be so much fun! So don't forget to check back in a few months to see their wedding pictures!

Maggie and Danny's Baby Bump

In 2007 we had the opportunity to work with Maggie and Danny for there wedding. Since then a lot has happened including the newest addition to their family! We were so thrilled when they called us up to do maternity pictures!

It can sometimes be difficult for portrait subjects to warm to the camera, but, after we'd been shooting for a while we ended up catching our lucky break when Maggie's back started to ache and Danny instinctually started rubbing it for her. While we already had made some artistic pictures, it wasn't until they relaxed and did what they always did that we made a picture that everyone agreed was truly them. It just goes to show, sometimes it's the moments in between moments that are the most successful!

In any case, all of our best wishes to the soon to be parents, Maggie and Danny!

Stephanie & David

Stephanie and David got married in April at the Westin River North.  They had a beautiful ceremony and reception - the florals they chose were absolutely breathtaking!  Another bonus was that we got to see some past clients as well!  It truly was a great party... clearly, even David's mom was having a blast during the Hora! ;-)

Engagement Session with Amita and Ben

What a beautiful couple!  Amita and Ben are getting married this August here in Chicago.  Ben is Jewish and Amita is Indian, so they're ceremony is sure to be one huge multicultural party.  The wedding will be at the Chicago Cultural Center - how fitting!  We can't wait to see these two again in August!

Baby Grant

Baby Grant is a favorite around here... We photographed him when he was just ten days old, and now his parents brought him back from some new photos.  You can't tell in these photos, but he's just the most adorable ginger baby you've ever seen!!  We can't wait to see him grow up!
