Lydia+Eamon's Spiaggia Wedding

The Proposal: Lydia thought it was going to happen on Valentine’s day when Eamon surprised her with two dozen roses, but to throw her off the scent, he waited a couple days and planned a weekend in Milwaukee. He intended to propose on the walk home from dinner, but it was one of the coldest days of the year, so he waited until they got back to the hotel room at the Pfister. They were getting ready to head up to the lounge on the top floor, and Lydia was in the bathroom brushing her hair when she turned around and saw him on the floor… on both knees! Their Australian friend Rob said it best… “Milwaukee, the romance capital of America” !

The Wedding: We joined Lydia at the Millennium Knickerbocker for the getting ready process. Her makeup was by Orlando Barsallo, hair by Kailey Service, and her gown was by Augusta Jones from Macy's Bridal Salon. Bridesmaid's wore dresses from Macy's Bridal Salon as well. Then we left the Knickerbocker for the ceremony at Fourth Presbyterian. The ceremony went off without a hitch, and then it was time for wedding party photography! We took photos on beautiful church grounds, at Lincoln Park, and downtown before heading to Spiaggia for the reception. The days cinematography was by our friends at Leap Weddings, florals by Ashland Addison Events, cake by Bittersweet Pastry, and the evenings entertainment was by Style Matters DJs- Kyle Woods.
Congrats Lydia and Eamon!

Allison & Brendan

After shooting Allison and Brendan's engagement session, we knew their wedding was going to be a blast. This bubbly couple threw an incredible Labor Day wedding, at two of Chicago's most spectacular venues. Allison and Brendan tied the knot at the iconic Fourth Presbyterian Church, before heading over to the Museum of Contemporary Art. The Mark Bradford exhibit looked stunning with decor. Thanks to Joelle, from Simply Perfect By Melissa, for making the day run smoothly. Congratulations Allison and Brendan!
